Established in 2014, Youth Brigade Snow and Skate opened as Calgary’s first and only specialty snowboard and skateboard retail shop dedicated to kids and tweens. For 5 years Youth Brigade set a new standard with our high level of customer service and our product selection for this growing market of young boarders. Soon after opening, Youth Brigade began offering skateboard lessons at the store and this service exploded and quickly expanded to overtake our retail focus. The success of our lessons program has since created the demand necessary for Youth Brigade to open The Park, Calgary’s newest indoor skateboard facility dedicated to introducing skateboarding to the young and the young at heart!
In the summer of 2019, Youth Brigade moved from their retail location in Strathcona (SW Calgary) to operate in the front end of The Park, creating an all-in-one experience for skateboarders: the retail side combined with the facility to learn and progress! Whether you’re looking for your first complete skateboard, need to replace some parts of your current setup, looking for durable skateboard shoes that will last longer and help you skate better, or just need a place to use your board, The Park is the only place you need to go!
In addition to skateboard equipment, Youth Brigade also houses the best winter product for kids to get the most out of their snowboard season! Boards, bindings, boots, outerwear, base layers, helmets, goggles, YOU NAME IT! If you need it to play in the snow, we’ve got it!!
