Blake has been involved with the family outfitting business from day one. Starting with a 22 and his dog, on to wrangling by 13, then graduating to holding a guides licence by 18. He has been successfully guiding in B.C. and Alberta for the past 15 years.

Kelsea was born and raised on a cattle farm outside of Fort St. John which has instilled in her a strong work ethic and a love for animals. She went on to start a career as a Registered Veterinary Technician, which she did until their son Cooper came along. She is still able to use her skills with the horses that they raise for sale and the mountain horse string.

Together they have operated a successful Mule deer, whitetail and elk outfitting business in southern Alberta for the past six years. Blake and Kelsea decided to sell their operation in southern Alberta and come back to northern BC and purchase Golden Bear Outfitting from parents Greg and Fay Williams and their partner Gerry and Patty Raker.

They are excited to be back in the mountains of northern BC where their true heart and passion is, with the chance to raise their family within this lifestyle.

It is Blake and Kelsea’s goal that every client will have the trip of a lifetime!
