For Over 40 years Fred and Lily Obrist have been serving customers in the Bowmanville and Newcastle area, and have also had the opportunity to serve many cottagers heading up to the Kawarthas throughout the summer months.

Recently Fred and Lily, now in their 90's have partially retire, and no longer maintain a large property with apple and pear trees. However their property and Market on Hwy 115 under management with the help of their son Louis provides a generous crop of various fruits and vegetables throughout the season. Crops include, asparagus in early spring, beans, peas, peppers, tomatoes, lettuce and spinach, strawberries, and raspberries. During harvest time, you will find apples and pears, pumpkins, and a large variety of squash.

You will also find a variety of quality Ontario grown fruit and vegetables (in season) such as Apples, Pears, Peaches, Plums, Melons, Grapes, Potatoes, Onions, Carrots, Cucumbers, Cabbage, Broccoli and MUCH More!!!!
