Gymnastics caters to children of all ages and genders.Gymnastics can adjust to the skill level of each child. The sport develops coordination, balance, flexibility, creativity, grace, leadership, socialization and body awareness.Gymnastics builds confidence and self esteem.Explosion Gymnastics in the last year has had close to 2000 children participate in the classes, field trips, birthdays, open gym and day camps.Gymnastics has been growing in popularity in Lloydminster over the last 21 years.Explosion is currently renovating the back portion of its gym to accommodate the large, and constantly growing programs. The renovation will increase our size to 27,000 square feet, making it one of the largest training facilities in Western Canada.programs for boys & girls.The club offers programs for boys and girls. At Explosion programs start as early as walking to teen. The programs are parent and tot class (ages 1-3yrs.), Preschool (ages 3-5yrs.), Recreational Can-gym (ages 6+), Teen, Boys Only (ages 6+), and trampoline (ages 6+). Explosion also offers programs for children with disabilities. The club offers year round programs. Explosion can design specialized classes to suit the needs of the clientele.Explosion has a team of certified staff with many years of experience working with children. All coaches are trained through the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP). These dedicated coaches are passionate about the sport of gymnastics. Coaches focus on Fun, Fitness and Fundamentals. Explosion has a low student to coach ratio.Explosion also has a developmental and competitive program. Athletes in this program train 4-20 hours per week. Explosion is home to Provincial and Western Champions. The competitive coaches assist each athlete in developing to their highest level of ability. In the competitive program athletes are challenged both physically and mentally.
