At Double R stables we welcome all breeds and disciplines of riding. When you arrive take a deep breath and enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the farm’s setting into the local landscape. Over the past year this quiet setting has brought peace and tranquility to our boarders, which has been key to the success of our multi-disciplined clientele. It doesn't matter if you are a seasoned rider with a veteran horse or an up and coming competitive athlete, you will soon feel very much at home at our home.
Ample pastures and turn out allow for individual or group turn out. The fields are harrowed, cut and seeded regularly to minimize parasite population and encourage new growth. Stalls are an ample size and rubber matted for all breeds, cleaned and bedded daily. We offer a heated tack room with year round hot and cold running water, ample storage, saddle racks, bridle hooks and tall lockers, drained wash stall with hot and cold running water, feed room, rubber matted cross ties with quick release snaps, round pen with 6ft solid fencing, large outdoor grass riding paddock, indoor arena with fluorescent lighting and easy access doors, manual horse safe control gates on entry and exit of the farm, ample parking as well as many other amenities.
