Bentinck Packers was built by Manfred & Lucy Lindner, opening its doors in March, 1974 with a focus to serve the surrounding rural community with custom slaughter services. In 1982, the business expanded to include a retail store open to the public. Son, Steven, holding journeyman papers from both Canada and Germany and after many years working in the meat industry, took over the business in 1997 when Manfred & Lucy decided to retire. With an ever growing demand for our smoked specialties, 2006 saw another expansion to include a large updated sausage kitchen and smokehouse. Today, the family tradition continues with the third generation, Tony, managing the retail area and developing new products and flavours for our customers.
