Located in rural Prince Edward Island, Canada, family-run Annand Clams is introducing Atlantic bar clams to the world. And what a debut they are enjoying! From the raw meat to freshly cooked, these mollusks are riding a wave of popularity, appearing on menus near and far.
Through an interesting combination of innovation and traditional recipes that have been used in our families for generations, we have also brought a menu of value-added bar clam products to the marketplace. Whether your preference is deep fried clams or chowder, or even our impressive bar clams on the half shell, we are your one-stop shop for delicious Atlantic bar clams. By popular demand, we also produce homestyle fish cakes, once a staple in Island homes and still enjoyed as a comfort food.

Our family-run business, operated by David and Carla Annand, is a proud cheerleader for the Atlantic fishery in general, and particularly the bar clam industry. We believe great taste should be shared. So we are taking the culinary seafood creations we have been enjoying our whole lives and making them available to the global market. Our small batch processing approach ensures consistently high quality.

Our delicious Atlantic bar clams have built a loyal following in the short time we’ve been in operation. More excitingly, we are proud to have renowned chefs like Michael Smith and Vikram Vij advocating our products. We were also pleased to be nominated for the inaugural PEI New Food Product Award.
