Hi, I'm Nelson Selinger, and I'm here to help you with your accounting needs.

After working three years at MNP and a year and a half at Grayling Business Consulting, I decided Prince Albert needed an alternative to the standard accounting practice. A typical CPA or partner at an accounting firm charges $200 - $300 per hour ($300 - $400 for a tax specialist), and they won't spend much time analyzing your corporate records, correcting errors, or finding ways for YOU to be more efficient and productive, unless you are willing to pay for it. In order to save time (and keep their prices competitive) they will make assumptions and do minimal work to ensure your taxes and financial statements look reasonable.

With my office in my home, I operate with very low overhead. I can apply my full expertise and in-depth analysis to the entire job, and still charge less than the big firms. The end result is more accurate financials, a more correct tax return, and a cleaner set of books (accounting records). I want to make your every-day accounting less of a chore, and reduce the time and effort needed on future work, thus saving you money and headaches in the long run.

I have a Bachelor of Commerce from Laurentian University, and a diploma from the Certified General Accountants Association of Saskatchewan. I have been preparing personal taxes since 1992, and corporate tax and financial statements since 2012. With 18 years of previous IT experience, I enjoy helping clients implement and use various accounting software solutions. In my office, I use proven technologies and processes to maximize efficiency and ensure data security.
